We are a friendly accountancy practice based on the Devon and Dorset border. We help local businesses and sole traders to manage their accountancy requirements, freeing them up to concentrate on the day job.

Our business started out as a home working enterprise and has grown over the years. We now have a team of people with our own business premises. This means we know first hand what it’s like starting a business from scratch and juggling all the different demands as your business grows. Whatever stage your business is at we can support you to manage it effectively.

We’ll take care of your accounts so you can focus on your business. As your business grows we’ll be here to give you helpful advice and support you along the way.

Meet the Team

Adrian

Adrian

Managing Director

Adrian Harris is the managing director at Rosy Jeffery Ltd. He leads the Rosy Jeffery team keeping everyone motivated and up-beat. He is friendly and loves to help people.

He qualified in 1998 and is a Fellow Association Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). Since starting his career he has gained 30+ years of experience working in a number of accountancy practices throughout the UK. He has spent this time looking after the accountancy and taxation needs of small business owners and individuals.

In his spare time he enjoys listening to music and he plays the tuba for Sidmouth Town Band. He enjoys the occasional round of golf and often watches rugby and cricket.

Mark

Mark

Payroll Manager

Mark runs the payroll department for Rosy Jeffery Ltd and also works in Accounts production. Karen works alongside Mark assisting with day to day payroll administration. He started his training in 1980 within a market town practice of Chartered Accountants and then pursued an Accountancy career in Industry with large farming and food processing companies in the UK, Holland and Germany.

Returning to practice in 2006, he is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (AFA), and enjoys the hands on approach using his Industry knowledge.

As a former Rugby player he can be seen supporting his local side and plays Double Bass in Jazz and Folk Bands.

Lee

Lee

Business Development Director

Lee is married to Adrian and has been for the past 25 years. She is one of the first faces that you will see when you walk into our offices and she will always have a smile on her face.

After many years working in academia, pastoral and caring professions, Lee qualified as a bookkeeper and joined Rosy Jeffery Ltd to assist Adrian with developing the practice.

Lee enjoys keeping fit and playing a cornet in Sidmouth Town Band, as well as keeping up with her garden.

Leona

Leona

Practice Manager

Leona works across the business alongside Adrian, dealing with various client tax enquiries and the administration of the practice. She spent many years in the banking industry and brings a wealth of experience in customer service and management.

Leona is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians having completed the Professional Diploma in Accounting and qualified as an Accounting Technician.

In her spare time, Leona can be found either in the garden or on poolside somewhere supporting her local swimming club in various volunteering roles.

Jackie

Jackie

Senior Accounts Manager

Jackie graduated from the University of Exeter in 1994 with BA (HONS) Accountancy. She then commenced ICAEW chartered accountancy training with a local accountancy firm.

Jackie prepares company accounts, corporation tax returns and company secretarial compliance for our limited company clients plus accounts and self assessment tax returns for our sole trade and partnership clients. Jackie is also responsible for those who require bookkeeping and VAT Returns and is experienced in using various computer based accountancy packages.

In her spare time, Jackie enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her family.

Jo

Jo

Accountant

Jo graduated as a primary school teacher from University of West of England, but decided on a career change, so in 2007 began her ACCA training in Taunton. After qualifying and gaining 15 years local experience in practice, Jo works alongside Adrian at Rosy Jeffery as a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA).

Jo enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. Her hobbies include cooking and running as a member of Axe Valley Runners, she can often be seen running Seaton Parkrun as a refreshing start to her weekend.

Andrea

Andrea

Bookkeeper

Andrea works in our own finance team and completes our internal bookkeeping and credit control.

She grew up in Lyme Regis, so she knows the area very well if you need directions to our offices at Hunthay Business Park.

Her hobbies include listening to music, watching films and going to live music events and she loves to spend time with her children and walking her dogs.

Amy

Accounts Assistant

Amy works within the Accounts team. She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, qualified as a bookkeeper and is studying towards the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting. 

Amy grew up in New Zealand and after many years as a chef and traveling the world she decided on a career change.

She moved to Devon with her husband and three children to be close to the beach and have more of an outdoor lifestyle. She enjoys eating out in restaurants, doing yoga, fun activities with the family and hanging out at the beach.

Max

Accounts Assistant

Max works within the Accounts team and is currently studying towards the Advanced Diploma in Accounting with the Association of Accounting Technicians

Max studied at Woodroffe secondary school, where, in sixth form he took up business studies, personal finance and business finance after deciding to pursue a career in the financial sector.

In his spare time, Max enjoys spending time with his friends and family, gaming, painting and playing football after recently picking up the sport.

Zoe

Client and Office Administrator

Working within our office as a Client administrator, Zoe may be one of your first points of contact. Her years in the service industry mean she is always striving to ensure client satisfaction.

Zoe graduated from the University of East Anglia in Business Management. After graduation she moved to Axminster and set up life working in retail and hospitality management for 10 years.

Zoe plays for Chard Ladies rugby team at the weekend and enjoys going on weekend getaways with friends and family.

 

Charlie

Client and Office Administrator

Charlie is one of our Client Administrators, he brings many years’ experience in a client focused finance position and it is likely he’ll be one your first points of contact in the office. 

He grew up in and around the Axminster area and has a real pride for the local area and community. 

In his spare time, Charlie loves gaming, spending time at the beach, going to events, and improving his Spanish.
